Letters to the Editor

Reprinted from "INSULATORS - Crown Jewels of the Wire", January 1985, page 30

Dear Dora,

Can anyone there tell me what CD this falls under? At a glance you would think it's a 162; but the top seems far too narrow and short.

It says BROOKFIELD on front and nothing on the back. The inner skirt has the four tiny drips like other Brookfields. Also, it's sort of a steel colored aqua. Can anyone come up with any info on it?

Thank you.
Steve German

P.S. Enclosed is an exact copy of my knob-top.

Dear Dora --

Found another paper treasure. This is the Western Union contract drawing for the Double Petticoat, Top-Groove Insulator (CD 213).
