Dear Dora,

I am enclosing a photo of an insulator which I bought at a flea market in Mass. recently. It is aqua, has a mold line running all around and has a screw thread coming from the base. The approximate measurements are: Length 5-3/4", width at base 2-1/4" increasing to 3" at widest point. Screw thread measures 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" tapering to 3/4". The only embossing is "PAT. APP. FOR". It is aqua and has lots of bubbles. 

I wrote to Bill Cosner and A. L. Rash, whom I consider to be experts in the rare insulator field. They were kind enough to give their opinion on this insulator. They are in agreement that it is a rare one, neither having seen or heard of this type before. I certainly appreciate their interest and the help they were able to provide.

Please keep the photo, and maybe some day more information on this may surface. In the meantime, I will keep it in my collection. Take care and keep well!
