A world of Mickey Mice (CD 257) which includes the back row of 10th
Anniversary N.I.A. (1983) commemoratives in 7-up green, amber, white milkglass,
cobalt, amber in a red; various embossings in aqua, clear, ice, green with amber
swirls, artificially carnivalized glass; a brown porcelain in the front row left
of center.
The "half' insulator in the middle up front has an interesting
story. This particular piece was removed from an old traction line power house
in Arcanum, Ohio. The powerhouse was built in 1900. There were two of these
purposefully broken to as to fit snug against the wall where the outside service
wires entered the power house. In 1996, I was fortunate enough to acquire the
two insulators. The fragile condition of the second insulators does not permit
me to transport.
