A Chambers System!

Imagine yourself coming through a hatch door on a roof top and seeing a
lineup of Chambers "candlesticks" and "companions" --
I made a great find today and thought that you readers should know about it.
I found a house with a nearly complete, working CHAMBERS system on it!
There are
three intact CD 132.4's (companion), as well as five CD 317's (candlestick). All
appear to be aqua, some a darker green. I snapped off 24 pictures of them.
I was
able to access the roof of the home through a hatch in the attic's ceiling. I am
in negotiations with the owner to snag one of each. I have a nice CD 132 that I
can change out for the CD 132.4, and I have proposed changing the CD 317 out for a CD 257 Mickey Mouse. These
are both unseen from the ground. I have also offered my painting services for
their home! This is truly history!
Tripod lightning rods with wooden threaded cobs on end allows the CD 132.4 to be
screwed onto the tripod. The cable is then placed into the vertical groove on
the back of the insulator, and secured by two pieces of wire that wrap the wire
groove and just above the flanged base.
The candlesticks (CD 317) are mounted with a substantial threaded pin on the
apex of the roof top. The horizontal cable rests in the top wire groove. Two
short pieces of wire wrap around the "bulb" top, are twisted into a
single wire, and fastened to the cable.
One cool thing about the system is that one of the CD 317 must
have broken
sometime ago and it was replaced with a jar!
