Well, we had a great turn out for the 15th Annual Emerald City Potluck. Gil
Hedges sent in this report. "We had folks from Idaho, Washington, and
Oregon. Robin, Win, Bonnie, Jack and Edna, and my self wish to thank all the
folks that came. Some of the people that were in attendance: Darcy and Bill
Burger, Jim Sinsley, Dan Howard, Nathan Lamkey, Dennis Moeller, Rich Ager, Don
Lewis and his wife Kelly and Ben Kirsten, Ed Sewell, David Bethman. We had about
15 tables with some great insulators on them. As usual the tables were inspected
well by everyone. There was lots of food and everyone had plenty to eat.

The
weather was off and on but for the most part it was warm and sunny. We were
honored to have the Crown Jewels editors Linda and Howard Banks in attendance. I
am not sure if Linda and Howard took home anything but fond memories, but I do
know that Tim and Nathan did take back some goodies. Nathan might have even
sneaked out some mud. We were very happy to have Vi Brown in attendance. A great
thanks to Jack and Edna for hosting the show again. I look forward to next years
potluck. The nice pieces included a blue castle, a nice amethyst California
Santa Ana and a bunch of colored H.G. signals.
Tim Wood carefully unwraps his favorite insulator.
There was a trade of a light blue J-D dated cable for an early white porcelain egg. A hybrid M-4420 with
an OB top on Lima skirts, which came down from a California line in the last
year, traded hands. A big glass and metal railroad relay found a new home.

Robin Harrison & Dan Howard share a laugh.
