Chesapeake Bay Insulator Club's 5th Annual Shenandoah Valley Show was a Success!

Saturday, August 14 in Martinsburg, W. Va. saw 6 dealers spread over 10
tables at the 5th annual CBIC Shenandoah Valley Insulator Show and Sale.
Although the dealer turn out was a little smaller than usual, this made for
greater sales for those dealers who did participate. With a larger than average
walk thru crowd, many pieces of glass and even a few ten pin cross arms made
their way to new homes including some more pricey items. (Sort of like shooting
insulators in a barrel!) Dealers from Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia,
Virginia, and surrounding states were present and some of the walk thru crowd
traveled further than that to enjoy the friendly atmosphere, great food, and to
add that all important piece to their collection. A new record seems to have
been set with over 20 members in attendance at one show. It would seem that more
shows are likely if dealer enthusiasm were to be any indication.
