Fry Glass Insulators

I have traveled through many states buying insulators and going to insulator
shows. Many collectors have asked me to send a picture of the Fry Glass
insulators to Crown Jewels so they may see them.
So here they are, described left to right:
- Opalescent Signal, with a bluish golden tint near the edges, longer
extended inner skirt.
- Same as above, only a shorter extended inner skirt,
- Black Glass Signal, same shape as opalescent signal, extended inner skirt.
(No light passes through this glass.)
- Opalescent Power, with a cable top wire groove and a long extended inner
skirt, golden bluish tint near the edges.
- Dark Opaque Green Power, which light barely passes through, has three
petticoats, of very heavy glass with no C.D. number--a wire groove cable top.
The signals listed above are the only glass signal insulators I have ever
seen with an extended inner skirt.
The background in this picture is an ocean scene drawn on one of the dining
room walls in my home. The picture was taken by my son Richard. I honestly
believe this is the most beautiful complete set of insulators I have ever seen.
