Every since Crown Jewels introduced the monthly feature "Insulator of
the Month", collectors have time and again told us their favorite
insulators are those with special character. Quite frequently, that character
involves swirls and streaks of color in the glass.

Minutes after digging it up, Rick Hall poses with a CD 123 EC&M
insulator. Rick and friends were digging for bottles in an outhouse hole when
they found the gem in the inset picture. It appears to be an F mold EC&M, an
extremely rare find in emerald green.
